Yo Ho (A Pirate Ride for Me)

Lyrics by Darlene (with apologies to X. Atencio and George Bruns)

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate ride for me!
We wait in a queue, count our party, and board
Load up, me 'earties, yo ho.
And pass the Blue Bayou with food we adored
Eat up, me 'earties, yo ho!

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate ride for me!
The skull on the wall says dead men tell no tales
Look up, me 'earties, yo ho.
Then a sudden drop puts the wind in our sails
Throw up, me 'earties, yo ho.

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate ride for me!
We enter a cavern chock full of dead guys
Dried up ol' 'earties, yo ho.
One looks at a treasure map but has no eyes
Give up, me 'earties, yo ho.

The Wench fires cannonballs, good guys are fried
Blow up, me 'earties, yo ho.
Then around the corner I buy a new bride
But not the redhead, oh no!

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate ride for me!
The next scoundrels we see are chasing young girls
Catch up, me 'earties, yo ho.
No actually I meant to say that they're chasing food
Bull crap, me 'earties, yo ho.

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate ride for me!
The pirates set fire, town looks like hell
Burn up, me 'earties, yo ho.
And six luckless bastards are stuck in a cell,
Locked up, me 'earties, yo ho.

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate ride for me!
The ride's about murderers, rapists, and cads
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho!
Aye, but it's loved by our mommies and dads
Enough, me 'earties, yo ho!

Notes

This isn't so much a parody of the "Yo Ho" Pirates of the Caribbean as it is a tribute.

Yes, the line about food is too long and sung too fast so it doesn't really fit the rest of the song. We know this. It's a joke.
